Periodic air duct cleaning keeps the air quality high, and improves the energy efficiency and lifespan of the HVAC unit. The vent grates and grilles tend to become encrusted quickly, but even protected by filters the duct interiors also get dirty over time. Getting inside of the narrow ducts to remove the dirt and vacuum out the debris takes some special equipment. We made a systematic sweep of the ductworks, cleaned the fan, and replaced the filters before returning the vent grates to their places. The reactivated system provided much better air quality.
