Mrs. Palmer realized that the outside of her dryer had been getting very hot, and grew concerned that something may catch on fire.
Mrs. Palmer’s dryer vent had a buildup of lint and dust that blocked the path of the hot air coming in to dry the clothing. This caused the excess and dangerous amount of heat. We shifted the dryer out of the way to access the vent and begin to clean it. After our technicians used a brush to knock loose the blockages, we sucked them up.
