Customer’s HVAC ductworks had a leak that reduced ventilation and AC/heater functionality in one room.
The insidious thing about air duct leaks is that it can be hard to notice them getting worse until the situation is out of hand. In the meantime, you’ll slowly lose air quality and increase your heating or air conditioning bills. If one room has worse ventilation or takes longer to heat and cool than the others, it’s often a warning sign. In this case, the leak turned out to be at a corner seam just inside of the air duct where it branched off from the main. Getting in there was tricky, but our Rayford professionals sealed the leak and gave the system a good cleaning and filter replacement.
